Plan to raise condo property taxes as reported by VOS IZ NEIAS, is down.
Albany – A state bill that would have spiked property taxes for condominium owners and especially for Kiryas Yoel MonDroe, has faltered in the face of stiff opposition, and its dead for this session, but Senators hope to revive it next session.

You didn't read all the information about this, and the previous article in the Time Herald Record, that it does affect Kiryas Yoel MonDroe

If you read the article the only thing that they are saying about kiryas joel is that they have many conods. But the lagislation is aimed against those private house, those single homes on a lot, who register themselves as condos. It is not intended against thsoe condos who actually share the common areas. If you know what a condo is you would understand the difference.
