Borough Park +Barricaded Perp+ Boro Park Shomrim Potral and NYPD on scene at 5616 New Utrecht Ave requesting ESU for a barricaded perp armed with a knife and wanted for a robbery. After being approached by BBSP and holding up the knife to one of the members refusing to put it down.

A perp was spotted by a member and he was approached. The perp pulled a knife on the member and held him. After calling for backup, the perp was cornered and refused to put his knife down.

There were a number of women robbed in the vicinity of the Paradise Manor hall recently, and the Shomrim set up a stakeout. When he was spotted, he started swinging a machette at the Shomrim.
When PD arrived he ran into his home and barricaed himself in. ESU arrived, stormed the door and removed him.

And why would Simcha Bernath jump in before the ESU? Why would he endanger himself? One day one of these hotheads are going to get killed. I was nearby, and I saw all of the units responding. They were driving like animals, even after the unit that called the 10-13 told them to slow it down.
