Mohawks Drop Plans For Kutsher's, But Want Raceway Casino
Monticello – In a move they hope will move them closer to that elusive Catskills casino, the St. Regis Mohawks are abandoning Kutsher's Sports Academy for a proposed casino at Monticello Raceway.
In a letter sent yesterday to the federal Bureau of Indian Affairs, the tribe says it "has formally decided to move forward with only the Monticello Raceway project."
"We are therefore withdrawing the application for a fee to trust application at the Kutsher's site, otherwise called the Mohawk Mountain project."

Anonymous at 12:43- you say that in the catskills they hate us and in PA they leave us alone. They leave us alone now because we didn't move in there yet. i alive in the catskill full time and i am jewish , not a red neck. i
belong to an orthodox synagogue for a long time and my daughter goes to ahebrew school up here. i am not an anti-semite. i resent that comment. there are manny,many,
