With Election Over, Mayor's Approval Rating Climbs Even Higher
According to a Quinnipiac University poll, the people who voted for Mayor Michael Bloomberg are more than pleased with his performance, the latest poll shows New Yorkers giving the mayor his highest approval rating ever.
A full 75 percent of registered voters polled say they approve of the mayor. Looking ahead, 30 percent of voters said education should be Bloomberg's top priority this term, with 17 percent saying housing should be the main thing for him to focus on. Another 5 percent, however, said terrorism and taxes should be priority number one.
