Mahattan Traffic Alert:+ Southbound Henry Hudson Closed+

A construction scaffold has collapsed right by the Henry Hudson Parkway. No injuries have been reported.

Workers have been doing masonry work with the scaffold overloaded with bricks on a 22 story O/M/D when the scaffold suspended from the roof, some of the debris has fallen down onto the street onto the Henry Hudson Parkway.

As a result, the police department shut down the southbound side of the Henry Hudson Parkway at 232nd Street, causing heavy traffic delays through out the area, and to evacuate the D-line apartments of the building.

Rescue Units are working the scene.
