White Lake - Propane Leak Causes Elusive House Blaze

White Lake - A weekend getaway home in the gated community of Black Lake Estates blew up and burned because of a propane leak.

Fire Chief Bob Yakin said when firefighters got into the gated community, the road signs were missing or hard to read. Many of the homes were set back in the woods, hidden from the development's private roads and few drives were marked with 911 street numbers. It took a good 20 minutes for White Lake and Kauneonga Lake firefighters to find the burning house. By then, the roof had collapsed and fire was blowing out the windows.
