NYC - Mayor Bloomberg Promoting More Affordable Housing
New York City, NY - Mayor Bloomberg unveiled plans for the city's housing program that would provide more than 20,000 apartments for middle-income New Yorkers.
The first phase includes 435 units that would be targeted at households with annual incomes between $50,000 and $100,000.
Bloomberg made the announcement as he detailed how the city plans to meet his ambitious goal of building and preserving 165,000 units of affordable housing by 2013.
