Thompson, NY - Bungalow Rules Under Study
Thompson, NY - The Town earlier this year imposed a moratorium on the construction of new bungalows until it had a chance to review the law that allow for their construction.
An early report on the situation has just come in, said Town Supervisor Anthony Cellini. “We got the draft of our new local law for bungalow colonies and we will be discussing it at our June 6 town board meeting,” he said.
The new law will be designed to make bungalows safer and more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
The moratorium on new bungalow construction will remain in effect until the town adopts a new law.
