Jerusalem, Isreal - Charedim Damage Internet Café

Warning For Jerusalem Internet Cafe 06/25/06

Jerusalem, Isreal - A group of charedim smashed the windows of an internet café on Hazvi Street, after noticing yeshiva students in the establishment.

The act came in the framework of the ultra-Orthodox community’s efforts to fight the exposure of charedim to the internet. Over the weekend photos of yeshiva students who frequented internet cafes were distributed in neighborhoods in Yerushalayim.

When it suits their purpose, these pious hypocrites are machmir (stringent) about even the smallest halachos -- but when it suits their prurpose, they (including whatever so-called "rabbi" or "godol" who authorized this) make up their own halachos and do all kinds of mental and verbal gymnastics to justify this chillul Hashem.

As a Hasidic Jew who goes with Payos I feel very hurt by your comments.
No. I’m not saying it is right what they did. But why do you have to make fun of my religious feelings? It is very shameful that some people do acts of vandalism in the name of religion. However, don’t blame an entire society because of the act of a few.

Also, you should learn how to spell. (see bold type above).

Stop bashing fellow Jews! Stop hating yourself for being Jewish.

Who said the Roshey Yeshivos didn't send them, it is "Gilu Aroyos" for most bochorim on the internet which is "Yehereg Vaal Yavor".

and if you sick up for them that much it is probably the same for you.
