Spring Valley, NY - First Highway-Speed E-ZPass Coming to NY State Thruway

Spring Valley, NY - Two lanes of the northbound state Thruway will be closed overnight tonight to begin installation of New York's first highway-speed E-ZPass.

At least one lane will be open during the three-night schedule, while workers install concrete slabs near the Spring Valley toll barrier.
The goal is to install a system by December that scans the E-ZPass without requiring motorists to slow down.
