Monroe, NY +Car Service Driver Charged with Assaulting Teen
Monroe, NY - A taxi driver has been charged with assaulting a 17-year-old Monroe girl while driving her home from Woodbury at night.
Osvaldo Romero, 22, was arraigned on a first-degree assault charge in Woodbury Town Court and sent to Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Romero, who drives for a Monroe-area car service company, had picked up the girl about 7:15 p.m. and was driving a short distance to her home when he stopped in a deserted, unlit area and assaulted her, state police investigators said.
The driver and victim "had a previous relationship," but hadn't seen each other since May, investigators said. They didn't identify the cab company and declined to specify where in Woodbury the attack allegedly took place.

The driver from the taxi is definatly NOT from a "m'sheluni" car service as you have seen his name is not "m'sheluni" (Osvaldo Romero), so it bring's out again one of the biggest benefit's of using our one & ONLY himeshe car service "LIBERMANS", even i'ts sometime's a LITTLE more expensive.

still girls should not be going in car services alone at night. Besides Yichud it is terribly dangerous. They should pair up and at least have a cell phone on therm.
