Washington, DC - Schumer is No. 3 Democrat in Senate

Washington, DC - Sen. Charles Schumer was promoted to the third-highest Democratic position in the Senate as a reward for helping his party recapture the majority. He also will stay on as the campaign chief for the next election.
"Obviously, it's just been a wonderful day for me," said Schumer.
