Williamsburg, Brooklyn Residents Rally Against Rezoning
Community activists from Greenpoint and Williamsburg in Brooklyn, want city council speaker Gifford Miller to step in to oppose rezoning.
Resident's rallied in front his campaign headquarters for mayor this afternoon, saying they need space that is open to the public not just those who can afford the luxury housing.
Miller's spokesman, says residents should be protesting Mayor Bloomberg instead because the city council speaker agrees the rezoning plan is inadequate.

What's the problem, the offer could produce 1,500 affordable units, in addition to 800 such apartments that would be built on city-owned land.
To much is already being asked of developers, how much more should they give?
