Widow of murderd diamond dealer by mob sues City.
The widow of Israel Greenwald a diamond dealer who's body was dug up in a Brooklyn garage this past April 1st, 19 years after the murder by the mob, filed a $100 million notice of claim against the city and the NYPD.
She is blaming the NYPD's failures for the "gross negligence, recklessness, carelessness and wrongful criminal conduct" of Louis Eppolito and Stephen Caracappa, who were still cops at the time of her husband's 1986 murder, after this two former detectives allegedly leaked sensitive information yo the mob.

Good for her! How horrifying that these cops killed using there badge. Hope she gets compensated for all her suffering over the past 19 years.

Her suffering over these past 19 years was also caused by the chickenhearted rabbonim who allowed her to remain an agunah.

well let me tell you something I happen to know his widow very well
acually she wasnt an agunah after a few years she was given permition to remarry but never did since she never really had any closure to what happened to her husband untill now 19 years later.
baruch hashem her husbands remains were found , and it was bitter sweet yet at least she and her daughters were able to give him a jewish buriel and send him to rest in peice in israel
now the 2 mob cops are on triel for his murder and lets hope that they will get what they deserve. to rot in jail for the rest of thier lives. .
