The boy's name was Shalom Rabinowitz. He was 15 years old and he lived on 39th Street and 15th Avenue. He is not related to the Skolya Rebbe. He fell from a tree- a few boys were climbing and his branch was shaky and Hashem wanted him and unfortunately he didn't survive. he was NOT DOA. He was conscious for 19 minutes and died in the Emergency Room. Baruch Dayan Ha'Emes. The Levaya is in Shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 12:00 PM. We should only hear good news!!!!

If hatzolah would have be there in moments and possibly air lift him to a trauma center, I wonder if he would possibly at least have chances to survive?

Did he die from massive internal bleeding?

BOY KILLED IN FALL FROM TREE

A 15-year-old boy from Brooklyn died from injuries he suffered in a fall from a tree yesterday afternoon at a camp he was attending in the town of Lloyd. State police say Shalom Rabinowitz was climbing a tree at Camp Karlin Stolin with another camper when the limb supporting him broke at about 4 p.m. Rabinowitz fell approximately 50 feet, striking several branches before hitting the ground. Investigators said the teen was moving and talking after impact, and may also have stood up. The fall occurred about 30 feet from a bunkhouse. Camp emergency medical technicians tended to Rabinowitz at the scene and contacted Alamo Ambulance for transport from the camp on North Chodikee Lake Road. Rabinowitz was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, where he was later pronounced dead as a result of internal injuries.

As the gemora says, g-d told the Malach Hamaves, not to worry, no one will ever blame him.

Had hatzolah airlifted him would he live?? Who knows, but what difference does it make. The Malach Hamaves (angel of death) wanted him, his time was up.

There is no Hatzlah service in that area, and the camp had its own EMT's. They treated him and transported him.
