Monroe - Developer Has Plan For The Old Bowl-o-Rama On 17M
The Village of Monroe Planning Board began reviewing plans for a 45,000-square-foot, two-story commercial building that would house a furniture store and other retail uses, offices and a conference room, for Zigmond Brach a Brooklyn businessman involved with the opposition movement in neighboring Kiryas Yoel, who might be the buyer.
The lot is the old Bowl-o-Rama next to the Sunoco station across Route 17M from Crane Park in downtown Monroe.
The sale price is unknown. Three years ago, the owners were asking $1.2 million.
