Brooklyn +NYPD Officer D.W.I.+ A NYPD officer was arrested in East New York yesterday morning while driving intoxicated. The officer, Robert Vargas, from Transit District 33 in Brooklyn, was pulled over and arrested at Williams Avenue and East New York Avenue shortly before 6 a.m. He has been suspended from the Police Department.
