Brooklyn - Defense Attorney Allegedly Stabbed By Client As He Leaves Court

Brooklyn - A man on trial in the killing of a 21-year-old college student used a homemade weapon to stab his defense attorney while his co-defendant reached for a court officer's gun, authorities said.
The lawyer, Mitchell Dinnerstein, was stabbed under the chin with a makeshift weapon of plastic or fiberglass by the suspect a 23-year-old converted jew wearing a white yarmulka, while the defendants were being taken out of the Brooklyn courtroom. The injury did not appear to be life-threatening.
