New York - High-Tech Speed Traps Proposed In Pataki's Budget

The administration estimates it would generate $39 million in fines the first year and $81 million the next.

The state supreme court has already ruled them unconstitutional, and they will never happen. It's just Pataki's way of balancing the budget.
