NY - Downtown Ellenville Gets Grant, Breathing New Life Into Its Village

NY - The Governor’s Office announced an assistance grant for the Village of Ellenville to support the central business district.
The plan will bring nearly $500,000 in grant and leveraged money to comprehensively target the commercial corridor and promote business upgrades and wider housing choices in down town Ellenville.
The Village Manager said the funds will enable the village to develop apartments above shops in the downtown business district.
“What it is is to turn the business district into a 24/7 community where people both live, work and shop,” he said.
