Florida - Rabbi Struck After Leaving Synagogue

Hollywood, FL - A Hollywood rabbi and his wife are in serious condition in the hospital after being struck by a car last night.
Rabbi Allen Saks and his wife Annette were struck crossing Sterling Road south by 44th Avenue while leaving Young Israel of Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale Synagogue.

A woman driving a blue Saturn eastbound ran a red light and hit them. The driver, Louise Cramer, was cited for running a red light.
The couple was transported by Hollywood Fire Rescue to Memorial Regional Hospital.
