Jewish Hospital Chairman Named Trustee Of The Year
Julian Shapero, 75, chairman of the board of trustees of Jewish Hospital, has been named 2006 Trustee of the Year by Modern Healthcare magazine.
Shapero was honored for guiding Jewish Hospital HealthCare Services through an eventful year. He was chosen as trustee of the year for large healthcare organizations - those with more than 250 hospital beds or more than $75 million in annual revenue.
Shapero, a retired Louisville department store owner, has been on the Jewish Hospital’s board for 37 years.
