Kiryas Joel, Monroe, NY - Borrows $4 Million For New Recovery Center

Kiryas Joel, Monroe, NY - Officials have borrowed $4 million through bonds to finish building a massive convalescence center for mothers behind the village fire station.

They plan to cobble together state and federal grants, a mortgage and private donations to pay off the debt in one year, Village Administratorsaid.
The entire project is expected to cost $9 million.
