Monsey, NY - Assemblyman Ryan Karben Stepping Down

Monsey, NY - Assemblyman Ryan Scott Karben, D-Monsey, announced that he will step down from his seat on the state Legislature. "It is time for a new beginning," he said in a statement. "After spending more than 13 of my 31 years in public service, it is time for a change for me and my family," he wrote.

He said he was stepping down to give greater attention to his wife and three daughters and to his law practice, as well as "to fulfilling other personal and professional aspirations."
