Lakewood, NJ - Police Continue To Search For Assault Suspect
Lakewood, NJ - Police this week continued to search for the man who is wanted in the assault of a 20-year-old township woman on the evening of May 7th.
Lakewood Detective Lt. Joseph Isnardi confirmed that police have teamed up with the FBI to use their resources as well. Isnardi said that as of early this week the investigation remained status quo.
Anyone with information regarding the case may call the Lakewood Detec-tive Bureau and Detective Lt. Joseph Isnardi at (732) 363-0200, ext. 5332.

As I said before...as of now it looks like this crime will never get solved...they obviously lack the leads to solve this case....because as soon as they turned to the FBI for help you knew their investigation was in serious trouble...

what is wrong if they dont have any suspects yet -- it means the person that commited the crime really knew what he was doing and it was pre-meditaded which means when they do get him he will go away to the slammer for more time

The cops in lakewood are plain dumb and anti semitic and that is fact. Ask anyone that lives there including non jews and they will tell you that same. I said from the get go that my beliefis it's a cop. The perp that kidnapped her was ranting about jews for hours while beating her up in the car. Witnesses state a different description of the person the police are giving out to the public and witnesses that saw a person hanging around suspiciuosly in the parking lot stated on record the perp had loner hair and NOT CROPPED hair, yet the police go with a different description stating " this is what witnesses state they saw. So already they lied in one area. Secondly there are so many clues yet the police are dumb.
Example number one: Green jeep cherokee. If the police believe it's a green Jeep with jersey licnese plates, the first thing I would do is pull up ALL of those cars. After all how many cars fitting that description are there? 6,000? It tkaes time but I would pull up all the info take a month, sit with the girl and go through all DMV pictures and see if anything comes about.
Secondly it is obviuos that the perp used his own or a friends car because you can't rent a 95- 97 jeep ANYWHERE IN THE USA!!
Also this had to be premeditated because he got her from behind and immediately blind folded her. You have to be quick and proffessional to keep her quiet and shove her into a car without anyone else noticing. It took real guts to do this in parrking lot where anyone can come out of a gym or shopping area.
Thirdly the response of the police was terrible and it took 5 days for the FBI to get involved.
The perp took her back to the location after 7 hours. Obviuosly this person was not scared because he took a great chance by going back to the crime scene. It's also obviuos that he knows the surrounding areas. The perp had a knife to her throat for hours and beat her and was ranting how jews in Lakewood do what the hell they want and get away with everything.
Hmm, that is another clue that he is familiar with the Lakewood area and politics. i can go on and on but think about the FACTS of the case and not rumors and it makes us think that a police officer or two have to be involved. For those of you that say impossible, think back to a few years ago when NYC police stations were caught doing crime. Yes, An Entire police station doing crime. "Dirty thirty"
is just one of them. (Washington heights.) The only other theory I can come up with is that the perp is bi polar.

Your points are well taken....but why would the mayor who is Jewish stand by without saying a word about it? And did anybody point out there concerns to the mayor that this crime looks like it was committed by someone who knows the area? and as to the FBI role in the case I wonder how active they are really on the case....or is all window dressing just to calm the fears in the community.

i have pictures of a green jeep cherokee -year about 97-with nj license spotted by my brother in lakewood. he called police they came half hour later and he called shomrim and their voice mailbox was full..no wonder he wasnt caught.

There are rumors in the yeshiva that the Lakewood rapist was caught but there is a very low profile on it because he comes from a solid Lakewood family and appears to have gone off the derech.
