It was in the news the "daily news" reported beriefly on it. Esther Solomon was hit by a small truck believed to be owned by a construction company. According to the police report the person was in the outer lane in a 30 mile hour zone. How he could not stop in time is beyond understanding. Esther Solomon was aPhysical Therapist and helped many children regain their motor skills helped them walk jump run you name it. She was one of the best in her field with over 20 yrs experience.
She was involved in an organization for mental healthcare professionals called"nefesh" which her husband Dr. Noson Solomon PHD helped create.She was involved in "parteners in torah" and was a very involved shadchin. She had just recently created a shidduch with a yound ben torah from Israel to an american girl. Although he spoke no english she made the shidduch happen. She was a truly exmplory woman who gave much time to others and got nothing in return. A true aishes chayil she will be truly missed by all.
