Massena, NY - Teen Arrested Following Cemetery Vandalism
Nassena, NY - Two teens have been arrested in the case of vandalism that happened at the Jewish Cemetery in Massena as was reported on VOS IZ NEIAS.
Police say a 15-year-old male is charged with making graffiti after painting a swastika on the driveway of the cemetery. Because Governor Pataki approved a law increasing the penalty for such an act, it will be considered a Class E Felony.
A 15-year-old girl has also been charged with making graffiti. In her case it will be considered a Class A Misdemeanor. Both teens have been petitioned to family court.
