New York, NY - Absolut Vodka Becomes Kosher-Certified

New York, NY - Absolut Vodka announced products listed under its brand name have received kosher certification from the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America.

Absolut products manufactured at the V&S blending and bottling facility in Åhus, Sweden are being formally manufactured under the supervision of the Kashruth Division of the Orthodox Union. The OU designation will be appearing on Absolut products in the coming months.
By establishing its products as kosher, Absolut expands the size of its consumer base to include Americans that abide by kosher rules because of religious traditions.

All Absolut Vodka is manufactured in Ahus, Sweden using a revolutionary method of distilling called continuous distillation. To ensure consistently high quality, every drop of ABSOLUT is produced there with water from the company’s own well, deep down in pristine aquifers, unreachable by pollution and impurities.
