U.K.'s Embassy in Tel Aviv Sees Standoff Involving Armed Man
Aug. 31 (Bloomberg) -- An armed man on the roof of the British Embassy in Tel Aviv was threatening to commit suicide, police said.
The Zaka emergency services said that the man warned he would commit suicide if he was not granted political asylum.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said officers were on the scene and did not identify the man or confirm details of the suicide threat.
