Montreal, Canada - Overpass Collapses Traps Cars

Montreal, Canada - A highway overpass in a suburb of Montreal collapsed today, trapping cars underneath and sending others crashing down from above.
Five people were pulled from the rubble and taken to hospital, Police Sergeant Daniel Guerin said. No deaths were reported, he said. "There were four or five vehicles including one motorcycle travelling over the top and a few underneath - we don't know how many underneath yet. Maybe two," he said.

The overpass on Boulevard de la Concorde in the suburb of Laval gave out, crashing down onto Highway 19, and rescue workers were still on the scene, Guerin said.
