New York, NY - Want To Live a Long Life? Try Queens
New York, NY - An analysis of Census Data by Harvard researchers shows that your lifespan can depend on many factors including where you put down roots, as well as your race, gender and income.
The study found that Queens is home to the oldest New Yorkers, with an average of 79 years. Manhattan is next, followed by the Bronx and Staten Island. Brooklyn has the shortest life expectancy.
Asian-American women on Staten Island have the longest life expectancy of any group in the city. Black men on Staten Island have the shortest.
The lowest life expectancies are in Washington D.C., Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and South Carolina.

Denver, Colorado. Great place. Nice people and town and pretty affordable compared to NY!
