Spring Valley, NY +Bank Robbery+

Spring Valley, NY - Police officers, K-9 unit's and RC Chopper-1 helicopter were all on the scene at the Wachovia Bank at 154 Spring Valley Marketplace looking for a man who robbed the bank and walked off with $5,000 in 50's & 100's cash. No weapon or note was displayed during the robbery.

The robber was described as a black male with a light complexion. He was about 5 feet, 9 inches tall thin build wearing a long white T-shirt under a beige shirt and a black cap with "NYPD" on it. He was last seen walking east toward Route 59 into a nearby Dept store.
Police are stopping cars and checking trunks as cars pull out of the shopping center.
