Maybe he's been hiding out up there ever since the old Catskill Game Farm (ah, I remember it well from my childhood vacations 45 years ago or so!)permanently closed down about a week or so ago. He hopped down to Ramapo, since there were no more tourists coming to the Game Farm, giving him handfuls of corn to eat.

How does a kangaroo appear in NY? Don't these things live in Australia? Is is a runaway sick and tired of being gawked at in the zoo or a stowaway from some Aussie cargo?

And I did not believe my daughter when she said the kangaroo just jumped in front of us on a field behind Bais Rochel school! It was on the second night of Sukkos, and my other daughter was also screaming that a large animal is jumping very high across the field.Wow, so it really WAS the kangaroo!!!!
