Sound Beach, NY - Husband Accused of Trying to Hire Hitman on Wife
Sound Beach, Long Island, NY - A man is held on $1 million cash bail on charges that he tried to hire a hit man to kill his wife.
Gary Katz, 51, of Sound Beach, was arraigned in Suffolk County District Court on conspiracy and criminal solicitation charges.
Katz met with a man to discuss killing his wife, then showed the man where they lived, but the would-be hit man informed police.
Katz and his wife have two children and they have been married for nine years and were in the process of a divorce, Katz' sister, said.
If convicted, he faces eight and one-third to 25 years in prison.

This again shows that before you hire someone for a job, you must thoroughly investigate them. Now, how you find an honest reputable reliable hit man - I don't know.
