NYC +Large Demonstration+ E42 St & 2nd Ave. Orthodox Chasidish Jews demonstrating aginst the Israeli Conulat, showing support for there brethren in Israel that are protesting against the ongoing road work of the Trans-Israel Highway in Israel, which passes over ancient Jewish graves.
officials estimate approximately 9000 people participate in todays demonstration in Manhattan.
But Transportation Minister Shitreet said that the protests about the graves won't stop the building of the highway, "these Satmar chasidim don't even believe in the State of Israel," he said.
