City officials reached an agreement on the rezoning of the Williamsburg, Brooklyn waterfront.

Officials agreed on a plan that would transform the 175-block of north Brooklyn waterfront into a neighborhood of residential 40-story luxury towers, with a park like the Battery Park with restaurants, shops and recreation areas.
The plan is expected to formally be approved next week by full City Council with some requirements to serve the low- and middle-class New Yorkers.
