Town of Thompson - Viznits Chasidic community Withdraws Petition For New Village.

Petitioners are going to withdraw their request, Town Supervisor said today. The withdrawal comes after negotiations with one of the petitioners, Abraham Taub, he said.

Town officials had expressed concern because it was unclear if the village would need to contract for certain services, including fire and police.
