Manhattan -- Upscale Glatt Kosher New Steakhouse To Open Soon
Creator of Prime Grill Kosher restaurant on E. 49th St is opening up the La Carne Grill, at 340 Lexington Ave. (between 39th and 40th Sts.), a new upscale glatt kosher steakhouse.
It is slated to open Oct. 11. In addition to the chop shop usual menu suspects (steaks, sides, salads), a sushi bar is on the second floor.

the heimishe olam --as you call them actually refers to the chassisdihe olam who really don't care abt hechsherim at all --and will in fact eat at any estbalishment that has hebrew writing in the window --it is quite irrelevent whether the hechsher is reliable or -whether some the ba'al hamachsir is just pocketing another few thousand dollars without knowing anything abt the kashrus of the estalishment
