Williamsburg Builders Plans Dealt a Blow

The six-story building, built in 1915 and designed by Cass Gilbert at 184 Kent Avenue has been designated a landmark by the Landmarks Preservation Commission, making it a distinctive part of the Brooklyn skyline when viewed from Manhattan, throwing a wrench into the developer's plans to add extra fs and carve out a courtyard.
