New Orleans - Torah Scroll Get Jewish Burial

New Orleans - Working alone with a shovel in her back yard two weeks after Hurricane Katrina, a Christian woman honored Jewish tradition and carefully buried the ruined sacred Torahs of a flooded New Orleans synagogue, to the relief of its distressed members who could not care for the scrolls themselves.

    Shlomo if i may ask you, now that the media isn't there, where are all this volunteers and Rabbi Gluck to take care of the Torah?

    If you bothered to read the article, you will see that Gluck and Lieder are the ones that rescued it, and at the request of the congregation left it with this woman.

    What exactly is your beef?

    Rabbi Gluck worked day and night to save as many torahs as he can ....so please find out your facts before you slam someone!
