Monsey - Man Charged In Arson.

Ramapo police charged a 38-year-old man yesterday with setting fire to his plastic drapery and the walls in his bathroom inside a Brewer Road house where a mother and two young children were living in another apartment, non of them were injured.

An investigation determined the fire had been deliberately set and the perp had been seen leaving the house when the fire was first seen around 1 p.m. Tuesday, Ramapo Detective Sgt. said.

He is being charged with second-degree arson, a felony, and is being held in the county jail on $25,000 bail.
