New York +Minor Earthquake+
New York was slightly shaken by a minor earthquake.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake measured a 3.7 magnitude and was felt at 10:37 a.m. in an area stretching from the border of Canada south through Chazy, Schuyler Falls, Plattsburgh, Willsboro and across Lake Champlain in Jericho, Vt., near Burlington.
Residents said the shaking lasted for some 10 to 15 seconds.
