Brooklyn Heading For The Catwalk

Brooklyn plans to unveil the borough's first-ever fashion week. The three-day event, to be held in a former DUMBO tobacco warehouse, will feature roughly 30 designers.
"The whole point is to put Brooklyn on the map as a fashion destination," said Rick Davey, creative director for what is being called BK Fashion Week.
If all goes well, the event would happen twice a year they say.
