Iraq - Blast at Shiite Mosque Pushes Iraq Toward Civil War
The blast ignited a nationwide outpouring of rage and panic that seemed to bring Iraq closer than ever to open civil conflict.
Three Iraqi journalists working for al-Arabiya TV were killed in the city of Samarra, and gunmen have stopped 3 buses carrying factory workers northeast of Baghdad and killed 47 people, dozens more in other parts of that country.
Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blames Israel and the United States for the destruction of the golden dome mosque.
And the Sunni Arab political bloc is suspending negotiations with Shiites and Kurds over a new government unless the administration apologizes for attacks on Sunni mosques.
