New York City, NY - Loaded Gun For Show-And-Tell

New York City, NY - Two sixth-graders both 12, at a Brooklyn junior high school were suspended for bringing a loaded .45-caliber handgun into their public school building
for show-and-tell.

No shots were fired and no one was hurt in the incident at IS 78, on 1420 E. 68th Street in the Mill Basin section of Brooklyn.

One student had bullets in his possession and another had the automatic handgun. Officials said the student brought the weapon in for show-and-tell but another student spotted the gun and told school security officers.
