New York, NY - NYPD Hauling In More Juveniles

New York, NY - The NYPD has dramatically spiked up in arrests of young people over the last year - a 30 percent increase between January 2005 and January 2006.

The New York Police Department’s latest numbers for juvenile arrests from January through September 2005, is 8,763 young people under age 16, a 12 percent increase over the previous year.
