New York, NY - City Raising Towing Fees

New York, NY - The Department of Finance is raising towing fees by $35. The move won't put an extra dime into city coffers, but will make more than a dozen politically connected tow companies richer.

The $35 increase will bring the tow-company fee to $185, so towed car owners will pay at least $265 in total towing, storage and other fees.
