Israel - A snap terror alert was clamped down on the Shomron and Sharon districts north of Tel Aviv, and the would-be bomber was captured in the Barkan industrial zone between Rosh Ha’ayin and Ariel, riding in a Palestinian taxi and wearing an explosives belt.

In a second incident, police shot dead a Palestinian terrorist wanted for a 2001 murder. An explosive device was found in his possession.
