New York, NY - 7 City Hospitals Rated Top In U.S.

Seven New York City local hospitals earned top marks in specialties ranging from cancer treatment to urology, a new report shows.

Seven hospitals in the city cracked the top 10 on this year's "America's Best Hospitals" ratings.
The city's top was once again New York-Presbyterian Hospital, which ranked sixth on the magazine's honor roll of the 14 overall best medical centers in the country, picked from a pool of 5,189.
New York-Presbyterian, which includes Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in Washington Heights and Weill Cornell Medical Center on the upper East Side, earned top marks in all 16 specialties measured.
In addition to making a big push to hire hundreds of doctors and invest in state-of-the-art technology, the merger has allowed the hospital to develop expertise in several specialties.
