Israel +Heavy Casualties In Fighting In Southern Lebanon+ Heavy casualties were reported in fighting between Israeli soldiers and Hezbollah gunmen in southern Lebanon.
More than a dozen soldiers were reportedly taken to Israeli hospitals after the fighting in several Lebanese villages, while the army said it killed many Hezbollah gunmen.

An estimated 160 Hezbollah rockets fell in northern Israel. Nearly half of Wednesday's rockets fell in Kiryas Shmona, while others fell in Tzafes, Beit Shean and Chaifa. No serious injuries were reported.
